Difference between IVF and ICSI

Both IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization) and ICSI are the assisted reproductive technology with some similar procedures.

But the difference is how the sperm will fertilize with egg. In ICSI program, we will select only 1 best sperm then inject to the egg while we need to pour some sperm into sterile dish which containing the egg and let sperm penetrate and fertilize with egg in IVF program.

After that, there are the normal process. Bring the fertilized egg to laboratory then proceed the embryo culture until getting the healthy one. And transfer the embryo back to the uterine cavity in order to let it implant and grow up to be the fetus later on.
