Inside the laboratory, Hyaluronan will be dripped on a sperm on sterile dish to allow the substance interact with the head of sperm. Only healthy sperm can realize HA substance. This technique is helping embryologist to remove the unqualified sperm containing DNA fragmentation. After that, the specialist will be able to select the efficient sperm for ICSI procedure afterwards.

HA ICSI has been mostly accepted in many researches. Since it is beneficial to increase fertilization rate. Helping the embryo to reach Cleavage stage and Blastocyst stage more efficiently. In addition, the use of HA ICSI can increase embryo implantation rate and pregnancy rate as well as reduce abortion rate, compared to ICSI with standard methods of sperm selection.
