Misconceptions about sperm: Is it true that fast-moving sperm are male and slow-moving sperm are female?
Many people may have heard that sperm movement can determine the gender, even the position of intercourse that will produce a child of that gender, such as deep penetration, male sperm that can run faster will reach the egg before female sperm, or shallow penetration, male sperm is usually not very resistant to acidity, often leaving female sperm that is still strong, or even vaginal douching to create an acidic or alkaline value, etc.

Because natural sperm production has both X and Y chromosomes in equal amounts, the type of sex chromosome cannot be identified through microscopic examination. Although in the past, sperm sex selection techniques were used through various characteristics, they could not provide accurate results, making it difficult to select sperm with specific sex chromosomes.
